Obituary of Elena Pekalski

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elena Pekalski at Extendicare Mapleview on October 7, 2018 in her 99th year. Beloved mother of Marion Megesi (late Dan) and Stanley Pekalski (Wendy). Proud grandmother to Jennifer Vincelli (Michael), Matt Megesi (Tunde), Paul Pekalski (Kelly) and Lauren Morgan (Derek). Great grandmother to Marcus, Daniel, Julia, Lucas, Harrison and Rhett. She will be remembered by her one surviving sister Anna and many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be forever missed by her wonderful and loving friend, Gaetane Laroche.  A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2018 with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In memory of Elena and her love for her children and grandchildren, memorial donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated. A special thank you to the caregivers at Mapleview for their wonderful care, especially, Janice and Jasmin.
