Obituary of Verna Caple

CAPLE, Verna (nee Spurway) – Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 96 with her children by her side.  She is now reunited with her dear husband Samuel Ralph (Bud).  Dear mother of Lynda Barban (Wayne Marenger), Tim (Chris), Ralph (Elsie), Jennifer Bania (Tom) and Tracy Wakefield (Ed), Mother-in-law of Reno Barban.  Grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 22.  Sister of the late Harry and Mona Spurway, late Ken and Frances, late Bill (Donelda) and the late Ellwood. Sister-in-law of the late Bob and Marg, late Ed and Marion, late Donald and Gwen, and Dave (Bev).  Mom will forever be remembered for the love of her family, home and her zest for life.  A special thank you to the staff at Maple View and S.A.H. 3C for their care and compassion shown to Mom and our family.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Memorial donations The Sault Area Hospital Palliative Care Fund or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family. www.northwoodfuneral.com
