Obituary of Lori Veldt
VELDT, Lori – After a lengthy battle with liver disease, Lori passed away at University Hospital, London, Ontario on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the very young age of 52. Cherished step mom of Brian Veldt. She was the loving daughter of the late Wilfred and June Legros. Dear sister of Paul (Terri-Lou), Rick, Suzanne (Jerry), Bill (Anne), Steve, Jerry, Ron and her late sister Linda. Long time girlfriend of John Forbes. Loving auntie of many nieces and nephews. Very special friend of Kathy Poluck and Karen Derochie. A memorial visitation will be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH or to LHSF-Liver Transplant Unit would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and ICU staff at London Health Science for the fantastic care given to Lori over the years.
