Obituary of Camillo Tatasciore

Arrivederci Camillo!  Born on August 4, 1922 in Bucchianico, Chieti, Italia.  Passed away on November 13, 2017 at Extendicare Maple View Nursing Home, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to join his devoted wife of 56 years.  We sadly must announce our final farewell to our “iconic” Dad, Nonno and Biz Nonno who left us suddenly after a long, lively and adventurous life of 95 years!  Predeceased by his dearest wife Lucia. Will be forever mourned by his four children Elisa Shore (Michael); Rosa; Dennis (Sharlene); Richie (Kim). Most loving Nonno of Stephanie (Jason), Greg (Diana), Rebecca (Frank), Allan, Michael (Rachel), Thomas (Kristy), James and Chris (Emma). Proud Biz Nonno of Mackenzie, Ethan, Kody, Alyssa, Matthew, Korbin, Sophia, Alivia and “baby on the way”, Russell, Carter and Lincoln. Brother of the late Tony (late Argentina); Joe (late Yola); late Ermenia (late Guido Pulice) and late Adela.  Fun loving Zio of many special nephews and nieces.  Brother-in-law of the late Camillo Talucci (Nicolina). Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave) on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. If you wish, charitable donations can be made to any local Sault charity of your choice.  Sincerest thanks and immense gratitude to our childhood friend Dianne Gapp who not only was Camillo’s constant source of support but she also filled his heart with “sunshine”.  Ciao Don Camillo … you must be dancing up a storm in Heaven, with your hilarious Woody Woodpecker laugh! “Yaba Daba  Do!”
