Obituary of Helen Kenopic

(nee Perepelytz) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our much loved mother and Baba Helen Jean. Beloved wife of the late Andy. Mother to Christine (Gregory), Lori (Iain), Michael (Lisa) and Marty (Alana). Beloved Baba to Michael, Mitchell, Morgan, Andrew, Madison and Andie. Daughter of the late Lena and Wasyl and sister to the late Mike(Anne), late Mary (late Louie), late Nelle (late Alfred), Anne (late Ralph), Doreen (Bill), late Shirley (Gerry). A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Quattro Hotel, Erie Room from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for family and friends.  Special thanks to the Sault Area Hospital Emergency and ICU nursing staff for their amazing support in our mother’s final hours. As well to Father Jerry and the perogy making team at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church for all the wonderful memories making perogies every week as we know food is the currency of love. Memorial donations to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church or ARCH Hospice Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated.
