Obituary of Gail Ann Londry

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Gail on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 62. She is now reunited with her beloved daughter Lisa, and twin sister Gloria. Cherished mother of Meegan (Ryan Fletcher). Super grandmother of Simon Morin, Zoey and Gemma Fletcher. Gail loved her grandchildren more than anything, and she was so proud of each one of them. Daughter of the late Reginald and June Londry. Fondly remembered by her remaining sisters Brenda Salituri (Tony), and Cher Beach (Jim), and predeceased by her twin sister Gloria Hewson (Bill), and Barb Langlois (Gilles). She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Greg Hewson (Lindsay). Gail worked at Great Lakes Forestry Center for many years, before deciding to go back to Sault College to obtain her nursing degree, where she graduated at the top of her class. She enjoyed working in Arizona as a nurse for 18 years before moving to Sault, Michigan to work at War Memorial Hospital. Gail enjoyed spending time on the golf course and had a special place in her heart for animals. She had a passion for travel that brought her to many places, but anyone who knew Gail, knew her favourite destination was Cuba. A Come & Go Celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Solo Trattoria from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario or your local Humane Society would be appreciated.
