Obituary of Nicholas "Nick" Robert Moore

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Nick on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in his 38^th year. Loving father of Taylor Cornwall-Moore and friend of Meagan Cornwall. Beloved son of Trudy Wamsley and Michael Moore (Fern). Brother of Marty. Step-brother of Kristie and Steve Roberts. Predeceased by his grandparents Kay Wamsley, Bob and Marg Moore. Nephew of Billy (Carolyne) and Marty Wamsley (Jane), Susan (Gene Stone) and Stephen Moore (Heather). Nick worked for Mike Moore Construction and was very proud to do so. His hard hat said, “Nuts & Bolts” and we are not too sure about that one. Nick was a very hard worker and loved doing concrete work. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Come & Go at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. We love you Nick, and we know your life on Earth was troubled. You fought a hard battle to overcome those troubles but in the end, they were just too much. There is comfort knowing that your fight is now over, and you are at peace and set free. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the EMS first responders for their effort and Officer Ryan Johns for his caring ways. 

They say that time heals all broken hearts, but that is just not true. To “move on” is to put something behind you, forget about it and never look back, to “go on” is to forever carry it forward with you and never forget. A bereaved parent will never move on, we simply try to go on.
