Obituary of Emma Salituri

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother and nana on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the age of 92. Born to Carmen and Concetta (Borrelli) Belsito in Donnici, Superiore, Calabria, Italy on January 29, 1926. Beloved wife of the late Frank Salituri. Devoted mother of Pat (Jane), Tony (Brenda), Tina Perlman (Dave) of London and Marisa Dumont (Claude) of Wawa. Very special nana of Frank (Rhonda), Jason (Melissa), Shauna Judkins (Scott) of Salt Lake City, Derek (Allison) of Calgary, Ben and Lucas Perlman of Toronto and eleven adoring great grandchildren. Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Frank Belsito (Ida), Ida Marrazzo (Pietro) of Edmonton, late Evelina Marrazzo (Augusto) and the late Maria Venneri (Domenic). Emma will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends and neighbours for her kindness and generosity and for the delicious Calabrese cuisine and pastries all lovingly homemade. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Robert Thibodeau officiating. Although Emma’s stay at the FJ Davey Home was short, we wish to thank the staff for the wonderful care they provided. Memorial contributions to the FJ Davey Home Residents Council or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Her love and never-ending support has touched all of us and her passing will leave a hole in all our lives.
