Obituary of Giuseppe Finateri

In his 89^th year, surrounded by the love of his family, Joe passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, February 5, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Maria (Compagnoni) for 61 years. Wonderful and loving father of Bruno (Vittoria), Angela Shiga (Don) and the late Marina. Devoted and caring Nonno of Nadia, Joey (Sarah), Lauren and Brandon. Bisnonno of Nico, Bruno, Alessandro, Rocco, Neva, Tia and Boston. Son of the late Aniceto and Margherita. Brother of Mario (Ana). Predeceased by his siblings Arduino (Concetta), Edivige (late Francesco), Americo (late Emma), Marietta (late Domenico), Nannina (late Nicola), Dante (Nina), Gina (late Marino), Guilio (late Concetta) and Domenico (late Rosanna). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church with Father Daniele Muscolino officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to the SAH Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. We are forever grateful for the compassion and care given to our father by the amazing care team on 3C at the Sault Area Hospital.
