Obituary of Anna Nardi

On this beautiful, sunny morning, on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the age of 90, Anna was peacefully taken home to the Lord. Loving Mother of Rina Clark (David), Sam Nardi, Connie White and John Nardi. Adored Nana of Steven Clark (Tanya), Anne Dobbin (Shane), Saverio Nardi (Allison), Alyssa Channa (Jas), Jared Nardi, Justin and Juliana White. Great Nana of Keiran, Sydney and Charlie Dobbin, Jade and Isabella Clark, Micah Channa and Quinn Nardi. Anna is predeceased by her parents, Concetta and Nicola Calvelli, her siblings; Violeta, Elvira and Frank Calvelli. She is survived by her younger sister, Virginia Muto (Rocco), who resides in Cosenza, Italy. Her primary focus was her family and she loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and the many fun family get togethers. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd., 705-945-7758) on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Mr. Frank Verteramo officiating. Special thanks to all the incredibly committed and understanding caregivers and support staff at Extendicare Van Daele. Additionally, a special thank you to the fabulous doctors and nurses on the 3rd floor of the Sault Area Hospital.
