Obituary of Nicole Ann Fitzsimmons
With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Nicole at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice after a courageous battle with MS on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 41. Best friend and soulmate of Scott. Adoring and proud mother of Collin. She is now reunited with her parents Allan and Brenda Lang and grandparents Ernie and Beatrice Lang and James and Nona Acciavatti. Sister of Jason (Marni). Cherished daughter-in-law of Roger and Diane Fitzsimmons. Dear aunt of Tyler and Madison. Special niece of Carol Emmerson (Garry), Dian Acciavatti, Karin Amadio (John) and June Delbosco (Frank). She will be missed by her many cousins, extended family and special friends. Nicole had a kind heart and an adventurous soul. She enjoyed time on the beach, camping with her family and shopping, Nicole LOVED to shop! She wanted to see the world and enjoyed a good road trip, a few of her favourites being the East Coast and Quebec City. She loved music and going to concerts. At the end of the day, there was nothing Nicole loved more than coming home to her boys Scott and Collin and spending a quiet evening at home helping Collin with his homework. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, February 23, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Michalycia officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the MS Society or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff at SAH 3C, North East LHIN and ARCH. Also, a heartfelt thank you to Auntie Karin for all your care and support.
