Obituary of Janet "Jenny" Jenkins

Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife and staunch support of the late Bill Jenkins. Loving mother of Wilma Jenkins, Alison Watkinson and Heather Smith (John Risse). The last and special Granma of Glen (Kate), Christine, Samantha (Denver) and Nico. A bottomless source of biscuits to all the dogs in the neighbourhood. Mum will be greatly missed by family and friends in Scotland and Canada. She recently moved to the other side of Fort Creek and found a warm welcome at Uusi Koti Senior Living. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family. She will always be singing in our hearts.
