Obituary of Kenneth Gonneville

The family of Ken regrets to announce his peaceful passing at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the age of 68. Loved husband and soul mate to Debbie for 43 years. Proud and loving father of Kerry Nathrop, Jason (Rachel Wardell) and LeeAnn (Guy Beauchesne). Beloved Papa of David, Bobby, Millan, Keith, Sophie, Maddy and Audrey. Ken took great pride in his grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed any time he got to spend with them. Ken was the cherished son of the late Patricia Gonneville and a beloved brother to his five sisters; Sharon, the late Maureen, Kathleen, the late Patsy and Marion. He will be fondly remembered by the McCourt family, including many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Anyone who knew Ken, knew that he lived life on his own terms and was a model of kindness, generosity and compassion. He loved meeting and getting to know people. Second only to his family, came his friends. Life long or new, Ken held his friends close to his heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His church family at Calvary Baptist were very special to him. Thank you does not begin to express our appreciation for the ICU doctors, nurses and staff for their phenomenal care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to visit at Calvary Baptist Church (Desbarats, Ontario) on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of Service at 11:00 am with Pastor Craig Rankin officiating. Luncheon to follow, all welcome.
