Obituary of Attilio Guido

Born March 1,1947 in Amantea Cosenza Italy, Attilio passed away peacefully in comfort and in dignity surrounded by those he loved on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Sault Area Hospital. Beloved husband and soulmate of 50 years to Santa Pucci. Devoted and adored father of Stefano (Denise D’Ettorre), Domenica Maria DesChene (Patrick) and Pina Rita Paluzzi (Joshua McColeman). Cherished Nonno of Sophie, Tyler, Emily, Luca, Brady and Olivia. Beloved son to the late Saveiro and Domenica (Coccimiglio). His brothers included, the late Michele of Venezuela, Francesco of Venezuela, late Arturo of Venezuela (Victoria), Fiore (Ida) and the late Carmen of Italy (Vincenza). Sisters included the beloved Giuseppina (Fiore), Maria (Mario) and Rita (Giacomo) all from Italy. Attilio was a great brother in law and friend to Matilda Perri (Orlando), Ida Perri (Antonio), Concetta Gagliardi (Eugenio), Iolanda Biasucci (Amato), and Pierina Pucci. Attilio will be missed by many nieces and nephews from Canada, Venezuela, Italy, and Australia. We would like to express our gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of the Algoma District Cancer Program and 3C for their exceptional care. As per Attilio’s wishes a private ceremony was held for his immediate family. Thanks to Northwood Funeral Home and Father Pat for their beautiful services. Memorial donations in honor of Attilio can be made to the Algoma District Cancer Program.
