Obituary of Dorothy Walker

Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the FJ Davey Home on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 86. Cherished wife of Harold for 67 years. Sweet, patient mother of Richard (Cindy), Debbie Lajoie (late Mark), Leigh Gainer (Brian), Grant (Marywin) and Kerri Fryia (Chris). Grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 15. Sister of the late Shirley Potts (late Lewis) and late Bryson Secord (Sandie). Sister-in-law of the late Vicky Kauffman, late Mickey Simmonds (late Harry) and Phyllis Disher (Doug). Aunt of many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will take place at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home or the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the FJ Davey Home Cedar 1 staff and hairdressing.
