Obituary of Alice Simon

With family by her side, Alice passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Ned Simon for 54 years. Loving mother of Terry Mackey (late John), Lynn Bourre (Michel) and Marnie Dawson (John).  She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Courtney (Corey), Mathieu, Erik, Emma, Paige, Dylan, Kyle, Dredyn and Blake and many nieces and nephews. Remembered by her sister Beverly Hansen, predeceased by Leslie, Lou, Earl, Ilene, Irene, Evelyn, Dorothy, Shirley and Bill. Alice enjoyed curling, bowling, playing cards and occasionally going to the casino. She spent many years traveling and camping with her family and friends. A private family service has been held. Memorial contributions to the FJ Davey Home or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Jadavji for his caring and kindness during mom’s recent stay at the Sault Area Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Hirvi, Andrew Metcalf, Cheryl, Heather, Jen and all the staff on Birch One at the Davey Home.
