Obituary of Filomena Rocchetta

Peacefully passed away with family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Saturday June 30. 2018 at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Pasquale for 65 years.  Cherished mother of Rose Hatfield (Tim), late Joe (Trudy), Frank (Diane), Jimmy (Heather). Treasured Nonna of 15, Great Grandma to 22 and Great great Grandma to 2. Dear sister of the late Maria Galasso, late Antonio Fisico (late Marietta), late Michele Fisico (late Rosa), late Emilia Fisico, late Carmen Fisico (Teresa), late Angelina Fata (Guerino) (late Michele Francella). Sister-in-law of Maria Rocchetta (Paolo), late Lidia, Rose Cesinaro (late Giustino), Esterina Pucci (Eugenio), Antonio (Saveria), Mario (Rosetta), Armando (Rosallina). Filomena will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Wednesday July 4, 2018 from 10 am – 1 pm with graveside service to follow. Thank you to mom's caregivers at Mapleview Extendicare and to the wonderful staff at Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department and 3B Medical Unit.  A very special thank you to the entire team at ARCH for their care and compassion given to mom and her family.  Memorial donations to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
