Obituary of Giuseppe Febbraro

It is with great sadness that we announce Joe’s passing on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 81. He will be missed by his wife Emma, sons John (Silvana Spadafora), Mario (Rosa), daughters Rosa (Cory Bedard) and Lori-Ann Dewar (Mark). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Michela (Jeff Curran), Remo, Daniella, Emma and Mitchell. Son of Rosa (late Vittorio). Son-in-law of the late Carmelo and Anna Giardino. He will be missed by his sister Francesca, brothers Ernie (Judy), Mario (Susan) and Rene (Wilma). Brother-in-law of Teresa Mazzotta (late Pietro) and Francesco Giardino (Rita). Special nephew of Luigina Bernardo. Joe will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. We are very fortunate to have very dedicated health professionals in our community. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wytsma, Dr. Berg, Lori Rose, the nurses at the NELHIN/CCAC and the PSW’s at CBI, especially Steve, James and Jason. A very special thank you to his daughter-in-law, Dr. Silvana Spadafora. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Joe has requested no flowers; memorial donations can be made to our local Algoma District Cancer Clinic in his honour.
