Obituary of Darlene Weise

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 70. Beloved wife and best friend of Horst for 46 years. Much loved mother of Derek (Sarah), Tyson (Andrea) and Heidi. Proud Grandma of Kaitlyn, Jacob, Emily and Owen. Daughter of the late James and Orvela Eckford. Daughter-in-law of the late Horst Sr. and Rose Weise. Sister of the late Tom Eckford (Lynne), late Donna St. Onge (Eddie), late Barb Pyykonen, late Lynne Petingalo (Albert) and late Jerry Eckford (Nancy). Sister-in-law of Heidi Devine (Terry), Rita Rivard (Richard Olsen), Ralph Weise (Michele) and Richard Weise. Auntie Dar will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Thank you to the PSW’s of CBI for the wonderful care of Darlene especially Annette Long for her empathy and loving care. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
