Obituary of Rosaria Bernardo

Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of Rosaria, at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 84.  She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Pasquale. Cherished mother of Bianca Paradiso (Gino), John, Frank (Nancy), Sergio (Tammy) and David.  Precious Nanna of Ida Orr (Gentry), Christina, Laura (Matthew), Robert (Samantha), Tiana, Melina and Erika.  Special Great Nanna to Mathew and Michael Orr and Ryan and Andrew Moore. Predeceased by her parents Maria and Alfonso Pino. Dear sister of Geniale Pino (Carmela), Teresa Danubio (late Mario), Franco Pino (Stella), Guerino Pino (Franca), Mario Pino and Enrico Pino (Lilliana). Daughter-in-law of the late Bruno and Antonia Bernardo. Sister-in-law of the late Maria Ruberto (late Angelo), late Michele Bennardo (Francesca), late Francesco Bernardo (late Rosaria), Carmela Cresci (Mario), Giuseppe Bernardo (Anna) and Luigi Bennardo (late Grazia). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Rosaria was a loving wife and mother, an excellent cook, and happiest when family and friends gathered. She adored children and they especially loved her pastina. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
