It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amedeo, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Coccimiglio) for 59 years. Loving father of Gino (Sandra Edrupt), Nancy (David Wolstencroft) and Denny (Ornella). Proud Nonno of Matteo, Nicholas, Connor, Siena, Giada and Ella. Predeceased by his parents Geniale and Chicchina Palarchio. Son-in-law of the late Giulia and Antonio Coccimiglio. Brother of the late Joe (Luisa), Ida (late Vincenzo), late Fiorina (Frank), Miranda, Nella (Rick) and Lena (Gini). Brother-in-law of Rose (Eugenio), late Sam (Connie), Frank (Maria), Gisella (late Vic) and Theresa (Dan). Amedeo will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Thank you to Amedeo’s palliative nurse Claudine. Memorial donations to ARCH or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
