Obituary of Susan Turnbull

(nee Pringle) It is with heartfelt sadness the family of Susan announces her unexpected passing on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 67. She is now reunited with her dear granddaughter, Sophia. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim. Cherished mom of Lance Pringle, Lisa Guzzo (Steve), Joshua Pringle (Brianna), Alicia Pozzo (Trevor) and Georgina Sigal (Jamie). Proud grandmother of Aerabella, Michaela, Arya, Abigail, James, Zachary and Ethan. Daughter of the late Ernest and Dot Pringle. Sister of the late Gerald Pringle and Sharon Yeoman (late Ray). Susan will be sadly missed by her sisters by heart Carol, Barb and Paulette. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many special friends. Susan was a foster mom to many children in our community for over 25 years and each one always held a special place in her heart. They will all miss her dearly.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. A private graveside inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donation to the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma would be appreciated by the family (all funds donated are used towards the children). A heart felt thank you to the ICU team at the Sault Area Hospital. Also, to the transplant team at the London University Hospital, thank you. Without you we wouldn’t have had Susan for as long as we did.
