Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the age of 72. Cherished wife of Mike for 53 years. Proud mother of Abbie Caputo, Carolyn Caputo-McCauley (Gene) and Michelle Caputo. Fun-loving grandmother of Michael, Caden, Addison, Alexandria and Cassandra. Predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Georgina Mousseau. Sister of the late George Mousseau, Janis Rice (late David), Laurel Williams (Pat), Ward Mousseau (Vicky) and Victoria Armstrong (Ian). Daughter-in-law of Carla and the late Albert Caputo. Sister-in-law of Teresa Caputo (late Guerino) and the late Carmine Caputo. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Carolyn’s pride and joy was her family. She loved nothing more than a family get together when everyone could be together. She had a special and unique bond with each of her children that they will always remember and cherish. Every sporting event, play, school function and anything her kids and grandkids were involved in, you could find Carolyn near by beaming with pride. Her kind heart and passion for baking often had her sharing cupcakes and baking trays with family, friends and sometimes even strangers, just to say thank you and to let you know she was thinking of you. Carolyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
