Obituary of Mary Thelma Hubert

Born May 31, 1930 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Walter and Dorothea Christensen. Passed peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Bernard Hubert for 56 years. Survived by her son Mark Stanley Hubert (Elizabeth) & granddaughters Katie and Lauren of Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles, California. Sister to Ruth Krmpotic (Joe), Ann Leidke (Max), and Greta Deevey (Floyd) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A lifetime member of St. Jerome’s Parish. Thelma loved her profession and will be remembered by the many children she taught as a teacher with the Sault Ste. Marie Separate School Board beginning in 1951. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
