William "Bill" Harris

Obituary of William "Bill" Irvine Harris

Please share a memory of William "Bill" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 88, he left to join his beloved wife, the late Eva, whom he missed dearly. To the very end, he would smile at the mention of her name and it comforts us all knowing they are finally together again. Predeceased by his siblings, Harry Ulch (late Mildred), Erle Ulch (late Fern), Jack Ulch (late Irene), Shirley Johnson (late Bill), Nan Lefave (late Laurie), and Pat Harris. Bill is survived by his sisters-in-law Merla Harris, and Priscilla Hagen. Very special Uncle of many nieces, nephews, great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or The Twinkie Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Kargbo, Dr. Bowen, and the nursing staff of 3B of the Sault Area Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.
