Obituary of Gloria Ojeer

Passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital, with her husband by her side on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 71. Cherished wife and best friend of Ken for 40 years. Predeceased by her mother Sylbertha James. Special sister of Ivan Allman, Carmen Lawrence, Delroy Allman and Mabel Goslin. Dear sister-in-law of Keith Ojeer (Glenda), Patrick Ojeer, Ulric Ojeer (Sharon) and the late Elvis Ojeer. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Gloria had many special friends and cherished each one and enjoyed spending time with them all. Gloria loved travelling and seeing the world. She enjoyed her career as a travel consultant and found joy in helping others experience the wonder of travel. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul and the Soup Kitchen. Gloria was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church. She had a passion for cooking and loved to read cookbooks and try new dishes. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family. Gloria had a kind soul and bright smile. She is a special woman who will be dearly missed by many.
