Obituary of Janice Elaine Wierzbicki

It is with heavy hearts the family of Janice announces her passing after a brief but hard-fought battle, at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the age of 61. Beloved wife and soul mate of Wayne for 47 years. Proud and loving mother of Wayne Scott (Terena) and Matthew Scott (Marina). Cherished grandmother of Charles and Jack. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Velma Wierzbicki. Loved sister of Joanne Sorrenti (late Frank), late Robert (Brenda), late Donnie, Dorothy Gillespie (Larry), late Thomas (Dianna) and Bev. Daughter-in-law of the late Victor and late Frances Scott. Sister-in-law of the late Gerald Scott, late Gilbert Scott (Phyllis), Roland (Joanne), Linda Grexton (Steve), Shirley Guy (Bob), June (Terry) and Donald (Linell). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Janice will be sadly missed by her longest and dearest friend Pam. Janice raised her 2 beautiful boys and loved to hear from them every day. It was always a competition to see who could call mom first! Janice was always up for an adventure. Always ready and willing! She loved the outdoors and spent her free time knitting. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
