Obituary of Lois Vaes

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). Beloved wife of Abbie for over 50 years. Loving mother of David Ferguson (Barb), Ken Ferguson (Kathy), Donna Majic (Tom), Nancy Brunetta (Andy Kozak) and Katrina Trebinski (Corey). Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 9. Much loved aunt of many nieces and nephews around the world. Daughter of the late Thomas and Astrid Elliot. Dear sister of the late Thomas Elliott (late Elsie), late Robert Elliott (late Doris) and Richard Elliott (Terri). Sister-in-law of Lieve Vaes (late Hugo) and extended family in Belgium. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
