Obituary of Giuseppina Rosa

Giuseppina Rosa, age 90, passed away peacefully at Villa Marconi in Ottawa on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  She was born on March 17, 1928 in Aiello Calabro, Italy. Beloved wife of the late Oreste Rosa. Loved by her children Frank (Kelly McNamara) and Lillian (Rob Dumbrille). Proud grandmother of Matthew Rosa and Evan Dumbrille. Giuseppina will be sadly missed by her sister Maria Sdao (late Antonio) and brother Luigi Rosella (Rosa). She is predeceased by her sister Francesca Fezza (late Eugenio) and brother Antonio Rosella (late Giuseppina). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road ,705-945-7758) on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Veronica’s Catholic Church (559 Douglas Street) with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Villa Marconi Long Term Care Center (Ottawa, Ontario) or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
