Obituary of Vera Severini

Peacefully, after a courageous battle, at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore “Sam” Severini. Cherished mother of Joseph (Cora), Robert (Gail) and Carlo (Alison). Proud grandmother of Casey, Jordi and Dante. Special aunt of Sam, Anthony and Frank Piraino, Luciana, Rita and Sam DeSumma, Toni McEwen and Sue Venier. Vera will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be dearly missed by her fur grandchildren Nico, Coco, Zeus and Duncan. Sister of the late Rosina Muscolino (late Paul), late Gerolamo Mirenda (late Maria), late Nina DeSumma (Elio), late Frank Mirenda (Teresa) and the late Lina Piraino (Peter). Special friend of Gioconda Pileggi and Rosina Desando. Friends and family are invited to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Veronica’s Church on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the SAH medical staff on the 3^rd floor and ICU as well as Dr. Jadavji for the care and compassion shown to Vera.
