Obituary of Pauli Piippo
Peacefully, at Sault Area Hospital, with his family at his side, on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Raili for 63 years. Predeceased by his parents Toivo and Anna Sofia Piippo. Much loved father of Paula Matheson (Don), Mimi Silk Eppert (Erich) and Karen. Proud grandfather of Andrew (Bridget), Matt (Kate), Scott and Jake. Devoted great grandfather of Grayson and Jakson. Pauli will be fondly remembered by his nieces Anna-Liisa and Ann Marie. He will be sadly missed by Jennifer Silk and her family. He is also survived by numerous extended family in Canada and Finland. Friends and family are invited to visit at Zion Lutheran Church on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Memorial donations to Zion Lutheran Church, the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
