Obituary of Armando Guzzo

Passed away suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 76. Armando loved life and being surrounded by his family and many friends. He always had a story to share about people he knew along the way. He taught us to be strong and find acceptance of what life brings our way. Cherished husband of Maria for 54 years. Loving father of Margaret Brown (Stephen), Shelley Lavallee (David), Liliana Lehtinen (late William) and predeceased by their beloved son, Michael Guzzo. Nanno of Christopher (Amie), Megan (Andre), Nicholas, Celeste, Evan, Joshua and Mara. Son of the late Giuseppe and Maria Guzzo. Son-in-law of the late Michele and Margarita Mannarino. Dearly loved brother of the late Fortunato Guzzo (Lucia), late Francesca Febbraro (late Franco), late Luigi Guzzo (Sesta) and Angelo Guzzo (Linda). Many memories, stories and laughter will always be shared. Beloved brother-in-law of Emma Naccarato (late Mario) and Frances Mannarino (John Morton). Armando will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Family Parish (208 Prentice Ave) on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SAH Critical Care Fund, Holy Family Parish or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
