Obituary of Lola Lorenzo

Passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Saturday, April 6, 2019 in her 87th year after a short battle with Alzheimer Disease.   Beloved wife of 66 years to Gerald “Jerry”.  Loving and special Mom of Debbie (Paul), Tom (Ann), Steven (Carol), and Gerri-Lynn (Chuck). Proud grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 17. Lola is the loving sister of Phyllis Anttila (late Paul). Predeceased by her parents Eric and Dorothy Miller and her brothers George & Gerald. Daughter-in-law of the late James and the late Irene Lorenzo. Sister-in-law of the late Leonard and the late Joan Lorenzo.  Lola is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A private family committal will take place at St. Luke’s Cathedral Columbarium. A celebration of Lola’s life will be held at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the F. J. Davey Home Foundation, Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff at F.J. Davey Home, Birch Lane 3 for their care and compassion over the past three years.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705 945-7758).
