Obituary of Jean Mancini

Surrounded by the love of her family, Jean passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 73. Devoted wife of the late William “Bill” for 49 years. Cherished mother of Theresa Schmidt (Steve), William and Robert Mancini. Special Grandmother of Cody and Jocelyn Schmidt and Irene Mancini. Special friend of Frank Spina. Predeceased by her parents Miriam and Albert Newell. Dear sister of Marlene Brunet (Robert), late Linda Sherwin (late Ralph), Karen Mattila (Harold) and Brian Newell (Donna). Daughter-in-law of the late Rosario and late Theresa Mancini. Sister-in-law of the late Tony (Mary), late Frank and Sally Rahn (Murray). Jean will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends. At Jean’s request, a private family service has taken place. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A very special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the Sault Area Hospital and London University Hospital Neurology Department for the care and compassion shown to Jean and her family.
