Obituary of Lester Arnott

Please share a memory of Lester to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

After a life filled with laughter, love and music, Les danced his way into heaven on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Les was the loving partner of Doreen Atkins for over 30 years and will forever have a special place in her children’s hearts; Terri Elliott (Rick) and Lori Atkins and her daughter Lindsay Virene. Les will be remembered by his sons Leslie (Gwen) and Scott (Kelly) and his grandsons. Beloved brother of Johanna McPhee (late Irvin”Zeke”). Les is predeceased by his parents Anna and John Arnott and his siblings Doris Mattinen (Oliver), Bob (Joyce), Luana Waycik (Walter) and Ron (Shirley). Les leaves behind several nieces and nephews that will treasure his memories.

Les had a long and respected career with the Sault Ste. Marie Fire Department and enjoyed his social retirement. Always a gentleman, he loved dancing with his “Doreena”.
