Obituary of Giovanni Aceti

Passed away peacefully at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Laurie for 44 years. Loving father of; Patti (Shawn Telfer), Gasper (Candice Aceti), Andrea (Daniel Niven) and the late Christy. Special Nonno to Austin, Kaleb, Carter, Gionni, Brianna, Luca and Aria. Predeceased by his parents Fina and Gaspare Aceti. Special brother of Lillian Donato (Tony) and Rita Francella (Frank). Son-in-law of the late George and late Ellen Thompson. Brother-in-law of Mary Ellen Szadkowski (Ted), Chris (Gina), Georgia Katajamaki (Michael), Heather Thompson and Erin Saunders (Greg). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
