Obituary of Velma Wier
On this Mother’s Day, I would like to celebrate and recognize my dear mother Velma Wier. Mom passed away in her 97th year peacefully; and surrounded by the tranquility at ARCH on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. A strong, devoted and determined woman, wife and mother. Mom balanced family and career in a time when career was not always an easy choice for a woman. Mom was a traveller, a snowbird and cherished her many dear friendships. Mom loved life and enjoyed hers to the fullest.
May you Rest In Peace Mom ~ You taught me everything except how to live without you.
