Obituary of Elizabeth Johnson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet Mum, Betty Johnson on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 97. Elizabeth Daniel Beattie was born January 26, 1922 in Kirktown, Oyne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Devoted wife to the late Wayne Johnson (2012) & late Arthur Lawrence (1954). Loving Mum to the late Ernie Lawrence (late Dorothy), Marilyn Buscarini (late Mario), late Sharon Lawrence, Wayne Lawrence, Gayle Lawrence, & Kathy Johnson (Lee Rodgers). Cherished Nana to 14 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren.
Mum's sparkling blue eyes, wonderful smile, generous heart, and kind soul will be dearly missed but never forgotten by her family and all who had the pleasure to know her. Her love and true devotion were shown caring for her daughter, Sharon for 26 years in our family home on Promenade Drive. Honouring Mum's wishes, a private family funeral was held. In her memory, she asks that you perform an act of kindness, and/or donate to ARCH, F.J Davey Home, or Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
The family thanks the staff of the FJ Davey Home who were kind to their Mum, Dr. Nicky Apostle, Northwood Funeral Home, and Rev John Wilson.
Mum will remain in our hearts forever.
