We are saddened and heartbroken to announce the passing of Evia Desaulnier. She passed peacefully, with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria Liut. Loving and caring wife of Emile for over 70 years. Devoted mother of Janice Cumming (Lee), Ken Desaulnier (Beth), late Christine Desaulnier and the late Michelle Desaulnier. Proud Gramma of Dylan Cumming (Beth), Jordan Cumming (Kristin), Brennan Cumming (Alyssa Scali), Chelsea Desaulnier, Evan Desaulnier (Melissa) and Dana Desaulnier (Zoé). Delighted Nona of Anders and Iris Cumming. Sister of the late Inez Zorzi (late Jack), Dick (late Lita)(Pat), late Tony (Gloria), late Angelo (late Dorothy), late Sue Marzetti (late Elio) and Lee Jarrett (late Lorne). Sister-in-law of the late Wilma Martinsen (late Peter), late Stan Desaulnier (late Evelyn), (Lynne), Andy Desaulnier (Barb), Mary Lundhild (late Viggo), Gerri Leonard (Peter), Jimmy Desaulnier (Muriel), Anne Sabourin (Dennis) and Daniel Desaulnier (Shirley). Cherished aunt and great aunt of many. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Parish at 1:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
