Obituary of Giuseppe Bruno

BRUNO, Giuseppe - Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, June 12th at the age of 92. Giuseppe is now reunited with his loving wife Erminia of 72 years.  Loving mother of Anna Bossio (Orlino), Angela McCormick (late Marvin), Maria Spina (Fernando) and Peter Bruno (Anna). Loving grandfather of Victor Bossio (Maria), John Bossio (Carlie), Mario Spina (Cindy), Marialisa Spina (Cody), Joe Bruno (Mora) and Paul Bruno (Christina). Adored great grandfather of Alexander (Brooke) and Aaron Bossio, Nico Bossio, Macey and Marlee Spina, Pietro and Anthony Bruno. Son of the late Pietro and the late Annetta Bruno. Brother of Iolanda Bruni (late Settimio), Eugenia Bruni (late Salvatore) of Italy and the late Vittorio Bruno (late Erminia). Dear brother-in-law of the late Francesca Bruni, late Giuseppe ‘Peppino’ Bruno (late Ida), late Angelo Bruni (late Antoinetta), late Ortenzia Cuglietta (late Gaspare) and the late Settimio Bruni (Iolanda). Giuseppe will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St. East) on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Emmanuel Zinsu officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
