Obituary of Armando Stefano

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of a very dearly loved, respected and devoted husband, father and grandfather at home on Friday, June 21, 2019. Born in Paola, Italy on March 16, 1929. He joyously celebrated his 90^th birthday in the presence of his family. Love of his entire family was the essence of his life. His love of gardening was his passion that he instilled on his children and grandchildren. Beloved husband of the late Rosina and the late Antonietta. Dear father of; Frank (Marisa), Claudio (Barbara), Ralph (Rosa) and John (Amy). Dear grandfather of; Matthew, Sarah (Daniel Zambusi), Anthony, Lucas, Erica, Marcus, Riley, Reese and Zooey. Son of the late Salvatore and Luisa Stefano. Brother; late Fedele Stefano (late Elvira), late Antonio Stefano (late Maria), late Amadeo Stefano (late Nicoletta), late Eugenio Stefano (late Evelia), late Mario Stefano (late Litalia), late Settimio Stefano (late Angelina), late Giulio Stefano (late Melina), late Orlando Stefano (late Nerina), late Vittorio Stefano (Rosa), late Adolfo Stefano (Ida), late Emma Novello (late Paolino), Genoveffa Signorelli (late Luigi) and the late Concetta Calvano (late Francesco). Son-in-law of the late Francesco and Maria Greco and the late Raffaele & Nicolina Mattina. Brother-in-law of; late Alfredo Greco (Lidia), late Guido Greco, late Franca Palermo (late Alfredo) and late Leonardo Mattina (Beatrice). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. His memory, love and kind-heartedness will live on forever with his family. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Eric Pannike officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
