Obituary of Donald Timothy Levesque

On Friday, June 28, 2019 Don went to the loving arms of his mother. Son of late Aunthime Levesque and Margaret Moncrieff of Ottawa. Loving father of Margaret Levesque and Erin Broks (Andy). Cherished Poppa of Kylie, Devon, Jaime, Rylie & Eli. Special brother of Doreen Melfi (Don), late Judith Bigelow (Wayne), David Levesque & May Pariseau (Richard). Caring Uncle of many nieces and nephews. In 1973 Don moved to St. Joseph Island and a few years later he followed his dream and opened, "Don's Garage". He quickly became known for his kindness, generosity and big heart. He leaves behind many friends and loved ones in his church community. Friends and family are invited to visit at St. Joseph Island Free Methodist Church (1589 Hilton Rd St. Joseph Island) on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Don was never a suit and tie kind of guy, please dress comfortably in your best plaid shirt and jeans. Tractors are welcome! Memorial donations to the Free Methodist Church or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758).
