Obituary of Giuseppina Buonomo

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Giuseppina at The Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife and best friend of Pietro Buonomo for 66 years. Cherished mother of Rosa Ferranti (Elvis), Mena Marshall (Keith), Nicola Buonomo (Grace), Lucia Kutt (Jim), Angela Mannarino (Enzo), Peter Buonomo (May) and the late Angela Buonomo. Special Nana of Melissa (late Doug), Julia (Mike), Matthew, Jamie (Cody), Stephanie, Ethan, Kayla, Corrie, Mickey and Tiffany. Great Nana Joe of 9 and Great-great Noni of 2. Predeceased by her parents Nicola and Filomena (Celima) Cristillo. Dear sister of Sam Cristillo (Diane) and Angela DeRenzis (Joseph). Sister-in-law of late Maria DiLollo (late Tony), Nicolina Giaconelli (late Gino), late Donato (Maria), Vincenzo Buonomo (Paola), Giovanni Buonomo (Giovanina) and the late Dolores DiSisto (Joe). Giuseppina will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
