Obituary of Yolanda "Yola" Bonin
Yola, a vibrant and energetic 96-year-old passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Bonin. Dear mother of Emma Bonin and the late Raymond Bonin Jr. Grandmother of Grant Bonin. Great grandmother of Hudson and Evelyn Bonin. Mother-in-law of Catherine and Russ Hilderley. Daughter of the late Emma and late Antonio DiGasparro. Sister of the late Fred DiGasparro (late Aline). Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Yola had a passion for Greyhound hockey, knitting, bingo, baking, scratch tickets and coffee with friends. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or Women in Crisis would be appreciated by the family.
