Obituary of Vincenzo Calvano
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our dearest “Nonno Vincie” / “Big1” at the age of 81. He is welcomed into the heavens above by his beautiful, most cherished wife, Giuliana. His two daughters, Nadia Longo and Laura Trunzo, along with their husbands Jerry and Frank, are blessed to have had such a devoted , loving father. There are not enough words to describe the love and pride that this man had for his grandchildren -Carina and Zak O’Connor, Justin Longo (fiancé Leah), Jacob and Jessica Trunzo. Memories will be forever shared with Nonno Vincie’s great-grand-Bella Bellas - Keira and Valerie. Vince can be best described as an enormous presence. His booming voice and laughter filled a room. His wit and sharp mind was present every day, while his body could simply not endure anymore suffering. Our wish to our dearest hero is this: May heaven offer you endless sports channels and the freedom to walk and dance with the love of your life. You are an inspiration to all of us with your devotion and strong will to live for your family. We know you will watch over us as our newest guardian angel. Papa was born in Carpineto Italy, to the late Guido and Livia Calvano, brother to the late Marcello (Anna), Alberto (Ida) Natalino (Carmen), son-in-law to the late Natale and Speranza Campagna, brother-in-law to Marcello Campagna (Pina), and the late Ettore Campagna (Franca).
