Obituary of Kenneth and Betty Thompson
Just as in life now as in death. A true love story for 69 years, Kenneth and Betty passed away peacefully, holding hands and with family at their side on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Sault Area Hospital. Kenneth and Betty enjoyed a wonderful retirement in their later years after all their hard work and dedication to their family. Dear parents of Douglas (Joyce) and Robert (Sheri). Cherished grandparents of Jeff, Christine (Peter), Jennifer (Todd), Laurie (Jari), Karen (Jonathan), Kevin (Nicole) and Benjamin. Wonderful and caring Great Grandparents of eight. Kenneth was the dear brother of Donald (Connie), Brian (Margaret) and predeceased by Clair (Katherine), Cecil (Lorna), Leslie (Joyce), Doreen (Earl) and Marlene (Wenzel). Betty is predeceased by her siblings Ernie Marx, Fred Marx and Gertie Riome. Kenneth and Betty will be fondly remembered by their many nieces and nephews. In keeping with both of their wishes, a private family graveside service has been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
