After a short residency at Extendicare Maple View, Pauline passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband John. Special mother of Pam Duvall (John), Peggy Lash (Herb), Patti Fournier and Penny Marinich. Cherished and loved grandmother of Cheryl and Jeffery Duvall (Katie), Heather and Herbie Lash (Gilda), Brittany LeBlanc (Patrick), Brianne Fournier, and Sydney Marinich. Great grandmother of Chloe and Sabastian LeBlanc. Predeceased by her parents John and Rose Opala. Loving sister of Sylvia Rollin (Paul) and predeceased by siblings Stella Ciceri (Don), Joe Opala (Jean), Edward Opala, Florence Opala, Walter Opala, Stan Opala, John Opala (June) and Raymond Opala. Daughter-in-law of the late Anna and Michael Marinich. Sister-in-law and special friend of Rose Miller (late Wallace) and predeceased by Catherine Marinich, Russell Marinich and Medo Marinich. Pauline will be missed by many nieces and nephews. At Pauline’s request a private family service will be held. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A special thank you to the care givers and residents of Harmony Bay at Maple View Nursing Home for their kindness and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
