Obituary of Dr. David Ley
Unexpectedly passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the age of 71. Son of the late John “Jack” and Elizabeth Ley of Penzance, United Kingdom. Brother of Peter and John. Proud uncle of Tristan and Mandy, Anthony and Alexandra and loved by all his family members. David was a well-respected Anesthesiologist at the Sault Area Hospital and will be fondly remembered by the many doctors, nurses and staff he had the pleasure to work along side. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of David’s life, to be held at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
