Obituary of Carmine Joseph Foglia

Passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord, surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Antonietta for 55 years. Cherished father of Maria, Michele Pighin (Al), Anna Temporao (Jose), Sam (Jennifer) and Christine Irving (Matt). He leaves behind his adoring and loving grandchildren Stephanie, Adrianna, Mason, Seleena, Marlena, Nadia, Nicholas, Sophia, Matteo and his great grandsons Rylee and Avery. Son of the late Salvatore and late Maria Teresa. Brother of the late Maria Mangone (late Salvatore), late Giovanni (late Maria), late Antonio (Angelina), late Pietro (Luisa), late Giuseppina Iaconis (Luigi), late Rosetta Carchidi (Frank) and the late Isabella Sucuro (late Vittorio). Brother-in-law of Guiseppe Marasco (Teresa), Giovanni Marasco (Rita) and Albina Caranna (Nino). Zio Carmine will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the SAH and the homecare workers from CarePartners.
