Obituary of Melissa Gallo

With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Melissa, surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 14 years. Cherished daughter of Dave and Marisa Gallo. The best big sister and friend of Vanessa whom she cherished every moment with. Adored granddaughter of Nella and Frank Guzzo and predeceased by Giovanni and Mirella Gallo. Dear niece of Antonia D’Addetta (Paul), John Guzzo (Michelle), MaryLou Barone (Mario) and Frank Gallo (Franca). Loved cousin of Robbie, Danny, Christina, Michael, Ava, Johnny and Mia. Best friend and neighbour of Mia Iachetta. Special family friend of Maia & Natalia Rollin and Alyssa, Ariana and Alexia Barone. Melissa will also be missed by her many friends, especially those at Soo Dance Unlimited. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Gregory’s Church on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC), The Twinkie Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the Staff and Nurses at the Sault Area Hospital Paediatric Unit.
